1-4 SYSTEM STATUS

DISARMED/DAY MODE
The system is in day mode when it is not armed. In this mode, only 24
hours active zones will be actively operational. The time, day and date will
be displayed on the remote key pad LCD screen.

ARMED MODE
The system is in the armed mode when all active* zones are operational
and can be triggered to raise an alarm.

1-5 OPERATING PROCEDURES

Galaxy panel can be operated through three procedures:

1. From the remote key pads
2. Through a SMS facility using a GSM sim card inside the control panel.
All functions can be executed through the remote key pads and some
main functions can be operated through the SMS facility.
3. Through Android mobile Phone

1-6 ZONES

There are six types of zones in the control panel:

ENTRY/EXIT (also called Delay): An entry/exit zone will actively raise an
alarm only if the system is armed. However, an entry / exit zone allows for
a programmed delay during which the user can enter the code and
prevent the alarm from sounding. If the user does not enter the code in
the programmed amount of time, the alarm will sound. The main entrance
is usually the entry/exit zone so as to allow the user to enter the
premises without raising the alarm. Entry/Exit zones are also referred to
as delay zones.

07
IMMEDIATE: An immediate zone will actively raise an alarm only if the
system is armed. If anyone enters the premises through an immediate
zone while the system is armed, the alarm will sound immediately.
Immediate zones usually include all the doors and windows other than the
main entry, since the user is unlikely to enter the premises through
these.

PANIC: A Panic zone is a 24 hour active zone and will raise an alarm when
the panic switch is pressed irrespective of whether the system is armed
or disarmed.

SILENT PANIC: A Silent panic zone is a 24 hour active zone and will send
ALARM SMS and call on preset numbers without raising an alarm when
the panic switch is pressed irrespective of whether the system is armed
or disarmed.

FIRE: A Fire zone is a 24 hour zone and will raise an alarm in case a fire is
detected irrespective of whether the system is armed or disarmed.

TAMPER: A Tamper zone is a 24 hour active zone and will raise an alarm in
case of tamper violation in the panel or sensors (if connected) and if the
tamper wire is cut irrespective of whether the system is armed or
disarmed.

Press 2
The panel will reset to factory settings and the ADMIN CODE will be
reset to 1234.
Note: The programmed messages and telephone numbers stored in
the panel will not be erased when the panel is reset to factory settings.

5-2 KEY PAD AND LCD LIGHTING

In order to make it easier to operate the control panel, both the key pad
buttons and the LCD screen are fully backlit. The keypad and LCD screen
will illuminate if a button is pressed or any delay zone is opened. The lights
switch off automatically after one minute.

5-3 SAFETY FUSES

As an additional safety feature, the control panel has one mains AC fuse
on the power supply card and two safety fuses on the battery charging
board. In the event of an overload in the power supply, sounder or auxiliary
supply circuits, a fuse will blow. This fuse must be replaced.

5-5 RETRIEVAL OF PREVIOUS SETTINGS

The control panel has a unique optional feature of retrieving the previous
settings in case of complete power failure. In case of complete power
failure (AC and battery), when the system restarts, an option to retrieve
previous settings or to reset to factory settings is given.
Following information is retrieved in this case:
1. Arm or Disarm status
2. Admin Code
3. Entry, Exit and Sounder time
4. Automatic Arming Time
5. Holiday setting
6. Intrusion Log

BYPASS PANIC FIRE TAMPER

POWER DIALING ARMED

In case any 24 hour is triggered (FIRE, PANIC, TAMPER) as soon as

the sounder stops (either manually or after pre set sounder time)
the panel will scan all open zones. If the panel found any 24 hour or
any other zone open at that time, it will temporary bypass that
zone. If the zone is a 24 hour active zone, the display on the LCD
screen will show BYPASS PANIC or BYPASS FIRE or BYPASS
TAMPER zone. User can use the system for arming and disarming till
the service engineer comes to rectify the problem (in case if any 24
hour active zone or immediate zone wire has cut).
After rectifying the problem, the system will exit from the BYPASS
PANIC
