EVAN WILLIAMS

Before the existence of Facebook and Twitter, Blogs were social media that
were loved by many internet users. People can communicate through blogs by
sharing interactive information and comments on the blog. but with the
development of new social media such as Facebook, Twitter, Wechat and others.
comments on the blog are decreasing.

Evan Williams, a US entrepreneur who has set up several businesses.


Among the most famous are Blogger (before being bought by Google). He was
also the CEO of Twitter, replacing Jack Dorsey. Evan Williams now lives in the
San Francisco Bay Area with his wife, Sara Morishige. Together they have one
child.

Williams, who was born March 31, 1972 in Nebraska, grew up on a farm in
Clarks, Nebraska, where he was helped by irrigation of plants in the summer. He
studied at the University of Nebraska for a year and a half, but then he left to
pursue a career.

Out of the University of Nebraska, Williams works at various technology


and start-up companies such as Key West, Dallas, Austin, Texas and his family
farm in Nebraska. In 1996 Williams moved to Sebastopol, California in Sonoma
County, where he worked at O'Reilly Media. Di O'Reilly He sat in a marketing
position but eventually became an independent contractor and wrote computer
code, which led to freelance opportunities with companies including Intel and
Hewlett-Packard.

On August 23, 1999, Blogger was launched by Pyra Labs. As one of the first
blog publishing devices in the world, Blogger has a role in popularizing the blog
format in the world. In February 2003, Pyra Labs was acquired by Google, making
a number of Blogger premium features that were previously commercialized by
Pyra Labs into a completely free service. In October 2004, one of the founders of
Pyra Labs, Evan Williams, resigned from Google.

Evan Williams founded Pyra Labs to create software project management. A


feature noted as Blogger, one of the first web applications to create and manage
weblogs, Williams found the term "blogger" and was instrumental in popularizing
long "blogs".
