Ai As Substitute of Manpower
Ai As Substitute of Manpower
Artificial intelligence (AI) is a computer system which learns from the experiences it
encounters. It can adjust on its own to new inputs, allowing it to perform tasks in a way that is
similar to what a human would do. With increasing levels of data being processed, improved
storage capabilities, and the development of advanced algorithms, AI can now mimic human
reasoning. Although Artificial Intelligence dramatically improves our world in many ways, there
are notable concerns regarding the forthcoming impact of A.I. on employment and the
workforce.
There are predictions talking about millions of unemployed people in the next decades
primarily due to the impact of Intelligent Automation and A.I. systems. Humans are being
replaced by smart robots that can safely navigate the space, find and move objects such as
products, parts or tools, or even perform complex assembling operations. The entire
socioeconomic system is entering a phase of accelerating transformation to markets, businesses,
education, government, social welfare, and employment models. Professional drivers (taxi,
trucks and more) will see the demand for their skill dropping rapidly. Also the importance of
salespersons and networks of physical stores will shrink. Although Artificial intelligence
completes routine tasks with ease, makes fewer errors than humans, makes us become more
productive, and helps us to explore on the positive side, but on the other hand, it is very
expensive to implement, will reduce employment opportunities, lacks creativity, can lack
improvement, and can be inaccurate.
Technology is an essential part of the development and growth of humans but it comes
with different dangers in the society. Technology cannot be a substitute of manpower but instead
made us more productive with elimination of very few job categories, makes our lives easier and
helps us do our jobs better.
