Development) CUM 2019 SCIENCE EDUCATORS AND
LEADERS’ CONGRESS generally aims to enhance science teachers’
knowledge and skills on 21st century pedagogical approaches for
improved teaching learning and promote continuing professional
development through School Learning Action Cell (SLAC).

The K-12 curriculum focuses on the implementation of


programs that would generally equip teachers with sufficient
knowledge and skills in teaching Science to meet the goals and
expectations of the 21st century learners. Teachers play a very
important role towards quality teaching and learning process
eventually to meet quality education. Providing them with
professional encounters that deal on the improvement will be of great
help in the improvement of the teaching learning process.

I Title: PROJECT RIPPLES

II RATIONALE

Science is one of the greatest and most influential fields of human endeavour. Today,
different branches of Science investigate almost everything than can be observed or detected
and Science as a whole shapes the way we understand the universe, our planet, ourselves and
other living things. Science is associated in all means of modernity and is essential tool for
rapid improvement of one’s life.

The K-12 curriculum focuses on the implementation of programs that would generally
equipped teachers with sufficient knowledge and skills in teaching Science to meet the goals
and expectations of the 21st century learners. Teachers play a very important role in
improving the quality of the teaching and learning process to meet quality education.
Providing them with professional encounters that deal on the improvement will be of great
help in the improvement of the teaching learning process.

III OBJECTIVES
This training aims to:

IV METHODOLOGY
Project RIPPLES will be attended by all intermediate teachers of Solano West
Elementary School, Solano II District. The SLAC composes of lecture, discussion, workshop
and critiquing.

VI TRAINING VENUE
This Project RIPPLES will be held at Solano West Elementary School, Solano, Nueva
Vizcaya

VII DATE OF IMPLEMENTATION


This Project RIPPLES will be held within the period from June 14, 2019 to March 5,
2020 at 3:30 to 4:30PM. It would be 6 hours every quarter one session every other week
composed of one hour. There will be 4 SLAC for the whole year round.
