Memory Game System: Faculty of Computers and Information Technology University of Tabuk

This document describes a memory game mobile application that was developed to improve users' visual memory and test their recall abilities. The application has two levels of difficulty and utilizes numbers, letters, and shapes to challenge the user's memory. It aims to enhance facial recognition and memory skills through stimulating exercises. The application was designed with intuitive home, game, and results screens. It was evaluated using usability heuristics and received positive user feedback on its ease of use, learnability, and clear interface.

1.1 Introduction

Mobile is much more than just a communication device today. It is an entertainment

medium, mp3 player, gaming zone, traveler’s compass, and so on. The market has gone abuzz with
mobile applications for various purposes. In this project we will develop mobile apps Match Me
Memory Game is one such game that is quite popular on the app stores. This
game that tests a user’s visual memory and compatible with iPhone & Android mobile devices has
two complexity levels – easy and hard users are required to memorize the location of different visuals
in the image boxes and match them by opening the relevant box another level measure number

1.2 Project Aims and Objectives

The title of this project is memory game is designed for practicing facial recognition through memory
stimulating exercises.
 first goal of the application is to improve the user’s ability to recall common names based on
visual prompts
 Second goal Show user how good their visual memories are and suggest strategies for
improving their memory skills.
1.3. Design:-

System Evaluation:
We will use the heuristic approach to evaluate the system. In this approach use
principles and guide lines to evaluate the system. We give a value between 1-5 to
evaluate each criteria. 1 related to weak points And 5 for strong ones.

1. Principles:
1.1 Learn ability:
N Criteria Description Wight
Based on our history in dealing with such system, the system is 5
1 Predictability very easy to use.

Assume it happened and the result is 3 3

2 Synthesizability
This isn’t the first time the user deal with 5
3 Such system. It is similar to other phone application
Familiarity

1.2 Flexibility:
n Criteria Description Wight

2 Multithreading Ability of system to support user interaction for more than one 5
task at a time.

3 Task Passing responsibility for task execution between user and 5

system.
migratability

4 Customizability Modifiability of the user interface by user (adaptability) or 5

system (adaptively).

1.3 Robustness:
n Criteria Description Wight

1 Observability Ability of user to evaluate the internal state of the system 5

from its perceivable Representation.

3 Responsiveness Does the system do the tasks in a fast Ability of user to take 5
corrective action once an error has been recognized

4 Degree to which system services support all of the user's 5

Task conformance tasks.
