The following information may kindly be furnished to the applicant as per the provisions of the Right to Information Act.

This application has reference to Memorandum nos A- 19 0 I I I 2/20 I 0-Est. (Vol. II) issued by the administrative officer of FTII and signed by Sri
Bhupendra Kainthola and attached to this application.

The memorandum makes some references to alleged posts on the personal Facebook page of Prof Indranil Bhattacharya which are part of a private
conservation, shared privately, with his Facebook friends and hence not visible to the general public.

The applicant seeks copies and information pertaining to the following

1. The above-mentioned memorandum is based on electronic data - the name of the individual or organisational source from which the data was accessed
by Sri Bhupendra Kainthola (since Sri Kainthola is a not a Facebook friend of Sri Bhattacharya the data is not accessible to him) may be shared with the
applicant
2. If the above memorandum to Prof Bhattacharya was based on a formal complaint - a copy of the same complaint may be furnished to the applicant.

3. The name of the department of FTII which accesses Facebook and Social Media data of employees.

4. The name of the surveillance officer of FTII - the official order through which the surveillance function was created.

5. Copies of electronic data - on which the above Memorandum is based may be furnished in a CD. The cost of the CD will be borne by the applicant.
