STUD

My Philosophy of Education
As an
Activist Teacher

I believe that every child:

 has special skills with unique combinations of abilities and needs;

 has abilities or capabilities to learn;
 has different needs;
 has individual skills or talents that need to be developed;
 has different views about learning activities;
 is unique and have something special that they can bring to their own education; and
 has their own way of learning.
 I believe that teaching is a process of learning from your students, colleagues, parents, and the
community. This is a lifelong process where you learn new strategies, new ideas, and new
philosophies. Over time, my educational philosophy may change, and that’s okay. That just
means that I have grown and learned new things.

I believe that as an activist teacher, I should know the strengths and weaknesses of every individual in the
learning environment.

I believe that every child:

 has skills or talents that need to be enhanced and developed through support and
encouragement of the teacher.
 needs a facilitator to help practice their ability
 need any strategy that will help unleash their own creativity
 must not only develop in academic but also in the other fields
 needs understanding from teachers
 needs care to uplift their abilities

I believe that my task as an activist teacher is to facilitate the development of every child in order to attain
their goals.
I believe that these are some keys to improve their selves:

 attending any social activities that will boost their confidence

 allowing the learners to engage in any workshops or in actual experience
 letting them explore things like joining any competition or any sports
 incorporating hands-on learning, cooperative learning, projects, themes, and individual work that
engage and activate students’ learning.
 allowing or pushing them to show their talents
 encouraging collaborative learning
 I will motivate the learners in order for them to think positive and develop the attitude of being patient,
determined and courageous in their struggles to learn, thus, preparing them to be able to survive the
struggles that they might face in real-life situations.
