welcome to The Annual INGLES General Convocation with the Theme: James
Strengthening English Language Proficiency towards a Sustainable

MAY AND JAMES: And we are your hosts for today.
May: Good morning James. I am happy to be with you today.
James: Good morning partner. Maymay

May: And on behalf of INGLES committee we would like to extend a


very warm welcome to all of you. We appreciate your presence today.
James: Just a simple reminder, may we request everyone to turn off
your phones or put it on silent mode. James
I. Prayer and May: To begin, we request every to rise for the prayer, to be followed
National by the National Anthem. May we call on Ms. Shahaiah Kesh Abayon, Maymay
Anthem the Peace Officer of INGLES Club to lead us in prayer.

May: Partner I have a question.
James: Yes partner, what is it?
May: How does a teacher usually start a class?
James: A prayer!?
May: No, after that.

James: Once we call your year level, give us your loudest shout and
your best cheer.

James: “THEY’LL GIVE YOU MORE, ONCE YOU HEAR THEM ROAR” –

May: “THE SOON-TO-BE-DEPLOYED, PERFORMING THEY ENJOYED” –
THIRD YEARS.
Jamers: “THE OLD BUT NEVER LOOK OLD AND SHINE LIKE GOLD” –

II. Opening May: Thank you to everyone.
Remarks To kick off this morning’s program, we are pleased to have with us our Maymay
very own Professor Jackielou Cansancio, INGLES Club adviser, to deliver
the opening remarks.

Please join us here on stage.

Thank you Prof. Jek for that warm opening remark.


Once again, Let’s give her a round of applause.
JAMES: Now, we are down to the realization of one of the purposes of
this gathering and that is for us to be inspired. At this juncture, may we
call on Mark Lester Redrico to introduce our speaker for this morning.

VI. James: Now it’s time for us to go in one of the highlights of this event. James,
Introduction of May we call Professor Jackielou Cansancio together with the elected Maymay
Officers and INGLES Club Officer for the Club’s oath taking. Starting with the 1st year
Oath of rep.**

James: Now it’s time for you to unleash your creativity and teamwork

May: As you remember, upon your registration, we have given you a
piece of paper with different colors. And will serve as your
corresponding team.
JAMES AND MAY: ARE YOU READY EDUCADOS?

May: Before we prodeed with the game, we will be giving you 5


minutes to prepare for your cheer.
(ADLIB) We will pick the lucky group to start off with their cheer.
(CHEERING)
Thank you for sharing your energetic and lively cheer.
VIII. May:It seems like you are ready. Maymay
Presentation of Are they partner?
Group Cheer James: I think they are!
May: Now, with the same team we will now proceed to the game.
IX. Fun Games James: What’s the title of the game by the way?
May: The games is called “THE SPAGHETTI TOWER”
James: What do you mean? Are they going to dance the spaghetti
song?
May: No Partner.
James: Ohh Are they going to have a spaghetti festival?
May: Of course not partner. It’s like this, we will be giving you spaghetti
strips and marshmallows. All you have to do is to build a tower using
these two materials as tall as you can. The group which has the tallest
tower will win a prize.

James: Now, we are all English majors and as an English major students,
we are expected be equipped with the knowledge and ideologies of our
X. respective career. We should be exposed in the English language in
Presentation of order to hone our abilities and skills.

May: For this reason, the INGLES Club, together with its members, have
prepared activities that will surely help us achieve our goals all
throughout this year. To present the Club’s General Plan of Action, let
us call on the President of INGLES Club, Mr. Mark Lester Redrico.

JAMES: What a remarkable performance! Thank you educados. That


only show that we, English majors do not only excel academically but
also in showcasing our prowess, talents and even beauty.

our club at their very best and vie to win the covetous crowns for the
upcoming Mr. and Ms. COE 2019.

XII. Video MAY: Now, as part of INGLES tradition. We are going to look back and

per year level and also a glimpse on how your future might be our dearest freshmen.
