Our customer is a well funded fintech startup developing an innovative web based solution for

corporate loans. In this role, you will be part of the Engineering team, and working with other
Java and QA engineers. You will have significant impact in your area of focus and contribute to
make the product stable and reliable before every deployment. We believe in personal growth,
so we look for self starter types who like to get things done, but at the same time are not afraid
to ask for help along the way.

Senior Java Engineer


Requirements:
● Bachelor or Master of Science degree in IT, computer science or equivalent disciplines
● 6+ years experience developing large scale web applications using Java
● Deep knowledge of Java fundamentals (data structures and language constructs)
● Deep understanding of Spring Framework
● Deep understanding of Hibernate Framework
● Great working knowledge of Linux development environments
● Excellent knowledge of JUnit / TestNG or other Java unit test frameworks
● Comfortable with Agile / Scrum software development methodology
● Working knowledge of GIT repositories
● Expertise with at least one bug tracking software (Jira, Mantis, redmine etc)
● Fluent in English, written and spoken. Good communication skills

Nice to Haves (extras - plus but not required)


● Grails development capability / Experience with Groovy
● Knowledge of Python
● Experience with Amazon Web Services (lambda, ECS, etc)
● NoSQL database expertise
● Java Selenium capability

Responsibilities
● Work with other engineers to develop / enhance the existing platform
● Document findings and other design with the rest of the team
● Write robust, scalable and stable code
