 social planning

can be defined as a process for planning social services programs, services, and
policies. Government agencies engage in large-scale development, research, and
planning to address social problems. social planning is a process which means that it
gathered some facts and detailed of the problem of the community then they study or
examine the data and have a logical decision about which of the available planning
option can be effective to help the community. they are giving some solution to the
problem of the community and meets its goal to improve the quality of life of the
community. it is most important for the social work especially that they are working in
the field of community. social work especially in an agency, they need social planning
in making program and services to address the problem of the community. they
facilitate the needs and wants of the community to satisfy and fulfill the needs of the
community.

 Sustainable development

Sustainable development is development that meets the needs of the present


without compromising the ability of future generations to meet their own needs. its goal
is to lessen the biggest problem that the community has been facing. sustainable
development also improves the life of individual in the society as well as the
environment to prevent harm to the people. additionally, they preserve the
environment system and maintain and improve the human living standards. this is
important for social work because they provide the needs and protection for the
people. as social work we are advocating for social justice and human rights.
protecting the natural environment is a key feature of promoting economic and social
justice, particularly for poor people, as it is involve an importance on sustainable
development. sustainable development needs a social work to apply their goals into
action. sustainable development is also important for social work because it helps them
to have more knowledge to recognize and include the nonhuman world into social-
work practice.
