REMEDIAL MEASURES FOR THREE LANDSLIDES IN TEHSIL MURREE

Worked as design engineer on remedial measures of three landslides in tehsil Murree. I
was responsible for the analysis and design activities. Technical works for which I was
responsible are analysis of lab and field data, establishment of design parameters, slope
stability analysis using Slope/W with the proposed remedial measures, design of
gravity retaining walls, design of piles for lateral and axial capacity, coordination with
Structures Division for design of cantilever retaining wall system resting on pile
foundation, tender drawings, design report. Client has accorded the approval of tender
drawings

BARA DAM PROJECT

Solely responsible for the Preparation of Technical cum Financial proposal for Detailed
Engineering Design and Tender Documents, which was approved by WAPDA and
project worth Rs. 151.850 million awarded to NESPAK. Also prepared the Contract
Agreement and involved in the contract negotiations and finalization of agreement with
WAPDA. During Phase 1 services, worked on the preparation of Design Report,
Design Drawings, Progress Reports, Presentations and other required submissions by
the Client.

REVIEW OF FEASIBILITY STUDY, PREPARATION OF PROJECT

PLANNING REPORT, DETAILED ENGINEERING DESIGN AND TENDER
DOCUMENTS OF NAI GAJ DAM PROJECT

As Senior Engineer involved in the coordination, preparation of technical and financial

proposals, financial negotiations with the Client, contract agreement, reports and
documents, review of feasibility study, analysis and design and bid documents for the
Nai Gaj Dam Project, District Dadu, Sindh. The assignments include managing a team
of engineers and Cadmen and coordination / meetings with various Divisions for
tasks such as topographic surveys; geological and geotechnical investigations,
construction materials studies, seismic hazard studies, hydrological and sedimentation
studies, agricultural and soils studies, hydraulic studies, foundation and dam design
studies, design of irrigation networks, IEE/EIA and social impact studies, mechanical
and electrical design and economic analysis studies.

Also involved in the preparation of monthly progress reports, presentations and

Inception Report. Worked on Task-I studies i.e. review of feasibility study, survey and
investigations programmes, identification of various alternatives and preparation of
draft and final inception report. Worked on preparation and finalization of various
