C. Find the critical path.


Path1: A,C,E,F,G Length: 7.5+6+7+11.5+8= 40 days
Path2: A,B,D,E,F,G Length: 7.5+8+14.5+7+11.5+8= 56.5 days
Critical path is the longest path through the network diagram,
Path2: A,B,D,E,F,G length is 56.5 days that is critical path .

Question 2:
Consider the following table which is Network Diagram Data for a
project. All durations are in Days; and the network proceeds from Node
1 to Node 9.

a. Draw an AOA network Diagram representing the project. Put the node
numbers in circles and draw arrows from node to node, labeling each
arrow with the activity letter and estimated time.

Path2: A,C,F,J,K Length: 3+5+4+2+1 = 15 days
Path3: A,D,G,J,K Length: 3+6+8+2+1 = 20 days
Path4: A,B,E,I,J,K Length: 3+3+3+5+2+1 = 17 days

c. What is the critical path for this project and how long is it.
Critical path is the longest path through the network diagram,
path3: A,D,G,J,K, length is 20 days that is critical path .
