This document outlines the user manual for a PUC (Pollution Under Control) Centre registration and management system. It describes the 8 key processes: 1) Registration of new/old PUC Centres 2) Document upload 3) PUC Centre approval process 4) PUC Centre renewal 5) Updating machine/AMC details 6) Updating machine calibration details 7) Issuing PUC certificates 8) Assigning PUC roles in VAHAN-4. For each process, it provides details on the steps involved such as document upload, fees collection, verification, and approval. It also includes annexures on certificate/application number formats and the testing server URL.

1. Registration of new/old PUC Centre

2. Document Upload for New Request
3. Approval of PUC Centre (cash collect/Site verification/PCB verification/cash collect/Final
Approval)
 Application Status Check:
o Checking of application status
o Updating of details by user through OTP based authentication, in case of application
rejection (at any stage)
 PUC Centre Certificate Download/Mail to registered Email ID.
4. Renewal of PUC Centre
 Document upload for renewal request
 Approval of PUC Centre renewal request (cash collect/site verification/PCB verification/cash
collect/Final Approval)
 Block /unblock PUC centre
5. Request for updation of Machine /AMC Details
 Approval of Machine /AMC Details
6. Request for updation of Machine Calibration Details
 Approval of Machine Calibration Details (Site verify user/PCB user)
7. Issue of PUC Certificate
 Reprinting of PUC Certificate by user/ PUC centre
8. Assignment of PUC role in VAHAN-4
1. Registration of PUC Centre
a. Go to registration page & select State
b. Based on state selection all the configuration fields and values will be populated
(configurable)
c. After saving, transaction ID will be generated, and that ID will be required until final
approval.
d. After application, user can upload scanned copy of supported documents (based on state
wise configuration).

3. Approval of PUC Centre

Approval of PUC centre is based on RTO approval process.

Approval Steps (steps are configurable, and some of the cases (e.g. old PUC centre)/ steps may
be skipped) are as follows:

a. Fees Collection (Registration Amount)

b. Site Verification by RTO
c. Verification by PCB
d. Fees Collection (Certificate Issue)
e. Final Verification (here PUC user can be Approved/Rejected/Inactive/Active)

4. Renewal of PUC centre

Before expiry date of PUC centre (days are configurable, e.g. 30 days), user can apply for
renewal. User can upload document.

Approval Steps (steps are configurable, and some of the cases (e.g. old PUC centre)/ steps may
be skipped) are as follows:

a. Fees Collection (Registration Amount)

b. Site Verification by RTO
c. Verification by PCB
d. Fees Collection (Certificate Issue)
e. Final Verification

5. Update Machine Details

User can request for updation of machine details/AMC details.
After approval by RTO user, that will be affected system.

6. Update Machine Calibration Details

User can request for updation of machine Calibration details.
After approval by RTO user, that will be affected system.
7. Issue of PUC Certificate
a. After login as PUC user, click Issue PUCC Details

b. Enter Registration Number & click Show

c. Click Default Value Retrieve/Live Value Retrieve

d. Select Pollution under control, and enter Mobile Number. If not available, then click
Submit.
e. Click Save

f. Click Print
8. Assignment of PUC Role in VAHAN-4

Login as RTO Admin in Vahan 4

Select Role as ‘CASHIER’

Select Role as ‘INSPECTION/ FITNESS’ (For PCB verification)

Select Role as ‘RECORD VERIFICATION’

Select Role as ‘RECORD APPROVAL’
