Abstract
Hotel Management System is an ideal software solution for Hospitality Industry that can be used at hotels,
motels, inns, resorts, lodges, hostel, military guest houses, ranch, and suites. Hotel Management System is
a comprehensive software suite consisting of integrated modules for various aspects of hotel management.
The software is often referred to as Property Management System in the Hotel industry. This Software
includes all the features required in a Hotel Management Software.
This software designed for full service luxury inns, bed, breakfasts, and resorts. It emphasizes the highest
level of individual guest services through our comprehensive features seamlessly integrating rooms, dining,
and retail, with information contained in reservations till back office general ledger.
The hotel management system helps you increase revenue and customer satisfaction by creating a better
and stronger link between your property business and your customers and partners.

Hotel Management Software will cover the following modules:
1) Registration: This module contains the information about newly joined Userdetails like name of the user,
password etc.
2) Customer Details: This module contains the details like Name of the Customer, Address, contact details
etc.
3) Billing and Payment Detail: This module contains the detail of customer payment.
4) Searching : This module is used to searching customer.
5) Checkin,Checkout,Reservation:- this module contain information of customer ‘s
Checkin,Checkout,Reservation information.
6)Reports:- this module contain information of customer daily reports or monthly
reports
Steps to start-off the project
1. Study and be comfortable with technologies such as ASP, JavaScript and Oracle 8i.
2. Understand the specification and come up with any suggestions that could be included.
3. Decide on the strategy or plan or software model to be used.
4. Create flowcharts or DFD’s.
5. Create Database design.
6. Decide on GUI with good look and feel.
7. Start on creating the front-end and backend.
8. Go module wise in a simple step by step manner rather than rushing on all modules
together.
