“A team can make better decisions, solve more complex problems, and do more
to enhance creativity and build skills than individuals working alone… They have
become the vehicle for moving organization into the future… Teams are not just
nice to have. They are hard –core units of the production “ (Blanchard, 2007).
The purpose of PLC is for teachers to develop new understanding and apply
it to their classroom to raise student achievement. Increased student
achievement is the indicator of a successful PLC.

Subject: MAPEH Department
Pass the necessary paper works on time. Two or more days delayed will be charged with
5 pesos for the MAPEH fund.
Every grading period, the teachers will share an expense to buy a ream of bond paper for
the printing during grading time.
When someone is late whenever there are necessary meetings within MAPEH
department, if late, he/she will pay 10 pesos as a sanction to be collected for the MAPEH
fund.

1. Finalization of 1st Quarter PT Proposal
The teachers clarified the specific parts of their
requirement in the planned performance task for
the students’ Brochure making.
They also deliberated the work to be done by
students like in being a writer, researcher and an
artist.
The teachers specified the contents of the
brochure and what they want to see in each pages
of the brochure.
They identified the date to be performed and when
the students pass their output.
2. Feedbacking of the students arrangement in Saint
Benedict Class
The teachers noticed that SB Class has an
unusual arrangement in a U-shaped. So, the
subject teachers laid down their concerns to the
adviser so that it can also be addressed.
The subject teachers agreed that the seating
arrangement is better in the usual way which is in
column and in proper rows. The adviser agreed.

The teachers were able to exchange
observations and feedback with regard to the
first Performance Task of the students.
Since most of the students did a good job in
their brochure, the teachers were also glad
about it.
The teachers also identify strategies and points
to be improved for the next PT to come.

The teachers are still planning of what task can
they give to the students that would revolve
around the topic of the family.
They started to put role playing as the task
itself but they are still in doubt if it is doable.
The teachers realized that the examination is
fast approaching and students have less than 2
weeks to do a task. So, they still think of a way
to channel the LC’s that they will be including
They have finally agreed that it will be a
picture story album entitled, “The House of
Us”.

The teachers clarified that the status of the
new transferees from SE and SA class.
They find resolution how they uniformly adjust
with the grade of the two students.
In this case, they agreed that the students will
only be graded to what they just have started.
So they only be given score to the tasks that
they have been able to join.

They started to identify that task that they

The teachers also plotted the scheduling for
preparations of the activity.
