RocData Product Sheet

RocData is a toolkit for analyzing rock, soil, and discontinuity strength data. It utilizes four strength models: Generalized Hoek-Brown, Mohr-Coulomb, Barton-Bandis, and Power Curve. RocData can determine strength envelopes and parameters from test data, which can then be used in numerical analysis programs. It also includes RocProp, a database of over 600 intact rock property records from around the world. RocData provides versatile analysis of strength test data in a highly interactive environment.

Rock, Soil, and Discontinuity Strength Analysis

What is RocData?
RocData is a versatile toolkit for the analysis of rock and
soil strength data, and the determination of strength
envelopes and other physical parameters.
RocData includes RocProp, a database of intact rock
properties that runs as a standalone application.
RocData utilizes four of the most widely used strength
models in geotechnical engineering: Generalized Hoek-
Brown, Mohr-Coulomb, Barton-Bandis, and Power Curve.
The material strength properties determined by RocData
can be used as input for numerical analysis programs like
RS2 and Slide2.
