You should start here if you’re an absolute beginner or have taken a decade
LEVEL 1
off.
Level 1 is a 10 session course that meets for 2 hours each week. There are
20 hours of instruction time.
You should start here if you’ve already taken level 1 or have studied Spanish
LEVEL 2
Level 2 is a 10 session course that meets for 2 hours each week. There are
20 hours of instruction time.
You should only enter Level 2 if you can confidently answer the following questions:
CLASS 1 You will be able to read, write, and pronounce Spanish. You will also be
LEVEL 1
CLASS 2 You will be able to describe what the closest people in your life are like
DESCRIPTIONS and about Spanish-speaking countries.
CLASS 3 You will be able to give and ask for the location of places, tell time, as
DIRECTIONS & TIME well as inquire at what time something will take place.
CLASS 4 By the end of this class you will be able to describe your family.
FAMILY
CLASS 5 You will be able to describe what you do in your day to day life
HOBBIES especially on your days off.
CLASS 6 You will be able to talk about the places you normally go to as well as
PLANS talk in the future to make plans with people.
CLASS 7 You will be able to describe your likes and dislikes and the names of
FOOD different foods.
CLASS 9 You will be able to talk about the weather and clothes.
WEATHER & CLOTHING
CLASS 10 You will be able to go shopping in Spanish, and give your opinion about
SHOPPING different outfits.
CLASS 1 You will be able to talk about your household responsibilities. You
LEVEL 2
THE HOUSE will also be able to talk about your preferences, obligations and
capabilities. You will also learn how to make excuses in Spanish.
CLASS 2 You will be able to order drinks at a bar and talk about what you know
THE BAR how to do or people you know. You will also be able to express what
you feel like doing.
CLASS 3 You will be able to use reflexive verbs to describe your daily routine.
DAILY ROUTINE You will also learn how to use conjunctive adverbs to connect your
phrases and make your speech sound more fluid.
CLASS 4 You will be able to talk about your health and be able to describe
HEALTH common pains and ailments when talking to a doctor in Spanish.
CLASS 5 You will be able to talk about your feelings and emotions. You will also
EMOTIONS be able to talk about what bothers or scares you. After this class, you
will be able to write posts on social media.
CLASS 6 You will be able to use direct object pronouns to not only make
ROMANCE your speech sound more fluid and nativelike, but also express your
affection to someone, and even ask them out on a date.
CLASS 7 You will be able to use the imperative to make commands. You will be
COMMANDS able to give and ask for directions.
CLASS 8 You will be able to use the preterite tense to begin talking about past
THE PAST events, such as what you did over the weekend.
CLASS 9 You will be able to use the preterite to talk about what you did for
HOLIDAYS some of the major holidays. You will also be able to use reflexive verbs
as impersonal verbs to describe what people generally do for each
holiday.
CLASS 10 You will be able to use the preterite tense to talk about what you did at
PARTIES your last party. You will also be able to use indirect object pronouns to
talk about the gifts you either gave or received.

student speaking practice. Our interactive learning approach has been used to teach

What happens if I miss class? How many students are in each class? What are your refund and cancellation
policies?
Your teacher will email a class summary Size does matter! And we keep ‘em
to the entire class each week so you’ll small. For language classes, max class Plans change—we totally get it. That’s
always know what’s going on even if size is 15 students, but most classes why you have until 7 days prior to
you missed a class. We’re also happy to average around 8 - 10. the start date of your class to make
set up a one-on-one makeup lesson at any cancellations or same-level
the super discounted rate of $45/hour transfers. After that, refunds cannot
(rather than the regular rate of $80/hour be offered under any circumstance
for private lessons). and for transfers, there may be a fee.
