TRAININGS AND SEMINARS ATTENDED:


1. “PROJECT FEASIBILITY STUDY PREPARATION COURSE”
(The workshop was a short-course facilitated by University of the Philippines Institute of Small
Scale Industries in coordination with the Department of Trade and Industry Region V and was
attended by thirty participants identified within the province most particularly DTI employees,
Nego Center Staffs and representatives from LGUs. It is a 5-day training started last March 7, 2016
and ended at March 11, 2016. It is a follow-up capability training for PROJECT IDENTIFICATION
AND DEVELOPMENT held last November 2015)
2. “PROJECT IDENTIFICATION AND DEVELOPMENT”
(A five day training from November 10 to November 13, 2015 at Ninong’s Hotel, Legaspi City
participated by DTI Employees and was sponsored by DTI Region V in partnership with the
Philippine Trade Training Center. The purpose of the seminar was to equip the participants with
proper identification of projects through available resources in every employees’ place of
designation through appropriate preparation of project proposals and such)

3. “MOCK-UP BRANCH TRAINING PROGRAM”


(A one month training program started May 12 to June 14, 2013 in preparation for the newly-hired
tellers across the nation, the participants of the seminars, to be equipped with skills and knowledge
to support the core values of UCPB Branch Banking and at the same time empower the participants
to handle operations as company’s front liners. Included in the seminar were signature verification
and counterfeit detection workshops.)

4. “SEXUALITY EDUCATION WORKSHOP”


(Two day seminar conducted at Masbate City with the theme: Peer Education as an intro to
Comprehensive Sexuality Education dated June 8-9, 2012. The purpose of the workshop is to
enhance the knowledge of youth advocates within the area about sexuality and to let them be
exposed in issues like cases of unwanted pregnancies, practice of safe sex and many more that are
relevant to the youth as part of the community)

5. “NEWS GATHERING AND NEWS WRITING”


(A one-day training-workshop in News Gathering and News Writing at 3rd floor Conference Hall,
City Hall Building, Masbate City and held last February 5, 2012.)

6. “BASIC OF BOOKKEEPING AND UNDERSTANDING FINANCIAL STATEMENTS”


(Held on August 15-16, 2011, the participants were gathered at Rendezvous Resort & Restaurant
for a 2-day seminar about business management thru bookkeeping and preparation of simple
financial statements like the income statement, balance sheet and statement of cash flows)

7. “ON THE JOB TRAINING”


(Completion of at most 325 hours OJT from April 13, 2011 to June 10, 2011 at Rizal Commercial
Banking Corporation, Masbate Branch as a practicum requirement in the course curriculum. The
training acted as an Administrative/Clerical Operations-support to the said Banking Institution.)

8. “GOVERNMENT INTERNSHIP PROGRAM”


(A Summer Job Program sponsored by the Social Security System Masbate Branch from March 24
to May 18, 2010. Interns were given two clear benefits on the said program: First, to be able to
work in a real government office with pay, and secondly, to be able to learn skills and knowledge
useful for the intern for its future employment purposes)
