USSD Call Flows PDF

This document outlines the signaling flows for mobile originated and mobile terminated USSD/SCI interactions between an MS, MSC/VLR, HLR, and SCP. For mobile originated USSD, the document shows signaling between the MS and SCP directly, or routed through the HLR. For mobile terminated USSD, signaling flows from the SCP to the MS, routed through the HLR and MSC/VLR. In both cases, CAMEL messages are transported transparently through the core network, and multiple USSD request-response sequences may occur depending on the service implemented.
