Sentences Worksheet (Underlining Part 1)

A sentence is a group of words that expresses a complete thought. They are made
up of a subject and a predicate. A subject is whom or what the sentence is about and
the predicate is the action the subject does.

Directions: Read each sentence. Draw one line under the subject part and two
lines under the predicate part.

Example A- David went to the park to play soccer.


Answer- David went to the park to play soccer.
