1. Two M5 weld nuts were found missing from outer panels of windshields during an internal audit at Tata Motors' Pantnagar Works. 2. A problem solving team was formed including the Assistant Manager of Quality, Manager of Production, and two Engineers from Quality and Weld Shop departments. 3. The team determined that parts got mixed during projection welding due to insufficient trolleys for separating finished goods from work-in-progress parts in the weld shop. They implemented corrective actions including providing two additional trolleys.
