Create design/layouts for the given scenario.

Note 1: You can use any tool to designing the layouts e.g. MS PowerPoint, Adobe Photoshop etc.
Note 2: Print out all the layouts. There can be maximum three layouts per page.
Note 3: There are many examples of different software’s given below. You have to learn form these layouts
and create all the possible layouts for the application explain in the given scenario.

Scenario:

Pathology Lab Management System is a module that can be used in pathology to book a test for the
customer, enter customer’s details and after conducting the test, give test reports to the customer, and
provides efficient management of pathology lab records. Using system-based software applications provide
a dynamic record keeping and data processing with other advantages for entire pathology and for end users.
The concepts and design of the Pathology Lab Management System module are to ensure that it can meet
the demanding requirements that an ideal software should have to manage today’s busy pathology labs.
Since Labs are now considered to be one of the highest sources of revenue. The features of this Pathology
Lab Management System will be:
 Pathology Lab Management System module can be used in any Pathology Center to Book a Test
for the customer.
 A patient will be provided with the date at which the test will be conducted.
 For any kind of check-ups, a customer can visit pathology and get his checkup done.
 Admin can approve or reject or set to pending the booked test.

 The invoice can also be created according to the tests booked by customers.

 Lab Technicians can perform the test for the customer.

 On approving the test request, the records for all corresponding lab tests for Diagnosis will be
created.
 A technician can be assigned to the diagnosis records that will perform the test.
 Obtained Value can be entered post the completion of Diagnosis and set the diagnosis done.

 Other useful details for Diagnosis Report can also be entered.


 Records for Test Parameters, Sample types, Units, Labtest, Test Packages, etc. can be created and
stored.
 Records for Patients, Pathologist or Technicians can also be created and stored.
 Records for Laboratory centers and its Collection centers can be created and stored.
