Standards Based Syllabus:

This type of syllabus is standards based since it focuses on teaching specific contents and setting
aside unnecessary topics. Since this syllabus has been created with the purpose of teaching
academic content and especially giving basic instructions for the development of communicative
skills in a second language, we consider it as the most appropriate to achieve an intermediate level
because it allows implementing any type of methodology that pays attention to what students are
expected to learn, reaching in this way the comprehension and skills dominance on behalf of
students.
