NARRATIVE REPORT

The organization and management class started June 15, 2019 with 34 MAED and MM

students with our professor Dr. Maria Luisa Gonzales. To start the formal discussion, our

professor assigned reporters for this semester. The reporters are tasked also to conduct activities

that promotes the importance of management in an organization. Yesterday, July 28, 2019, our

team headed by Mrs. Aiza B. Rivera organize a team building activity with the theme “People,

purpose and passion: The pathways to success” at Jass Resort Bacacay, Albay. The main

objective of this activity is to employ leadership and camaraderie among the students of

organization and management and apply knowledge and skills gained from the discussions and

activities conducted during the 2nd summer class 2019.

Registration starts at exactly 7:30 AM together with the distribution of Program facilitated

by Regie N. Monsalve. The Activity start at 8:00 AM headed by the Master and Lady of ceremony,

Mrs. Wilma S. Rabeza and Regie N. Monsalve. The activity begins with simple Invocation led by

Mr. Lorico and followed by opening remarks of Ms. Darlene Padua. To formally welcome the

participants, Dr. Maria Luisa Gonzales delivered her overwhelming welcome address. Mrs. Aiza

B. Rivera, the chairman of the of organizing team, present the participants of this year’s team

building activity and set the rules and regulation of each game. The students of organization and

management were group into 3 namely, red, yellow and blue. Before the games start, each team
were task to present their Yell and it was energetically and enthusiastically delivered by the 3

teams. After the teams energized, the game starts immediately. The table below shows the

winners of the games played during the team building activity.

Find and Blow Blue Team

At 11:30 AM, a simple feast (boodle fight) was happily shared by the participants. At that

time, participants demonstrate peace and harmony. While stomach is full, a karaoke session

served as a bonding moment of the participants. At 1 PM, the game resumes with energy and

perseverance to win. After the games, the chairman of the organizing committee announces the

winners and the champions of the games. The overall champion of the games is the Yellow team.

Evaluation sheets were distributed to participants after the announcement of winners. A certificate

of Appreciation was given to our professor, Dr. Maria Luisa Gonzales for sharing her expertise as
professor on organization and management for this summer class 2019. Certificate of

participation was awarded to all the participants of this year’s team building.

The team building activity was a success. Objectives was carried out and satisfaction

among the participants was clearly seen. The result of the evaluation satisfies the sweat and tears

of the organizers in organizing the activity. We acknowledge all the participants for supporting the

activity with flying colors.
