SWAT HANDBOOK

SWAT: (special weapons and tactics) team is a law enforcement


unit which uses specialized or military equipment and tactics. A
designated law enforcement team whose members are recruited,
selected, trained, equipped and assigned to resolve critical
incidents involving a threat to public safety which would otherwise
exceed the capabilities of traditional law enforcement first
responders and/or investigative units​.

​Motto 
The  motto,  "To  Protect  and To Serve", states the essential purpose of the Los 
Santos  Police  Department.  The  Department  protects  the  right  of  all  persons 
within  its  jurisdiction  to  be  free  from  criminal  attack,  to  be  secure  in  their 
possessions,  and  to  live  in  peace.  The  Department  serves  the  people  of  Los 
Santos by performing the law enforcement function in a professional manner, 
and it is to these people that the Department is ultimately responsible​.  
 
Respect 
Every  member  of  this  department  will  adhere  to  a  strict  level  of  respect  not 
just  to  one  another,  but  to  the  community  as  well.  When  speaking  with  other 
civilians  it  is  vitally  important  that  they  feel  as  though  you  are  there  for  their 
own  well  being,  and  that  you  never  talk  down  to  them.  This  is  extremely 
important in gaining their trust. 

Integrity  
Integrity  is  our  standard.  We  are  proud  of  our  profession  and  will  conduct 
ourselves  in  a  manner  that  merits  the  respect  of  all  people.  We  will 
demonstrate  honest,  ethical  behavior  in  all  our  interactions.  Our  actions  will 
match  our  words.  We  must  have  the  courage  to  stand  up  for  our  beliefs  and 
do what is right.

● These  vests are labelled with "POLICE", "SHERIFF", "SWAT" or similar, to 
allow for easy identification 
 

 
Vehicle Restriction 
 
● Unmarked ford explorer 
 

 
 
● Unmarked charger 
 

 
 
● Brute police riot van 
 

 
 
 
● AIR ONE 
 

 
 
 
WEAPONS

While a wide variety of weapons are used by SWAT teams, the most
common weapons include submachine guns, assault rifles &
shotguns​.

RULES : -

1. SWAT MEMBER CANNOT GIVE HIS IDENTITY AND CANNOT


SHOWHIS / HER FACE TO ANYONE.

2. WHENEVER YOUR OFF DUTY YOU NEED TO STAY AT


CIVILIAN CLOTHES.

3. SWAT CANNOT DO DAILY SASP WORKS.

4. SWAT MEMBER CANNOT MEET HIS/HER FRIENDS AND


CANNOT SAVE FRIENDS NUMBER ON PHONE.(FOR
SECURITY REASON)

5. SWAT FORCE WILL ONE AND ONLY FOLLOW THE LEADERS


ORDER, DON'T GIVE YOUR OPINION.

6. SWAT CAN ONLY USE ALLOTTED WEAPONS AND


EQUIPMENTS / VEHICLES.

7. ANY SERVER RULES BROKEN BY SWAT FORCE CAN END


UP TO FIRE FROM SWAT FORCE.
