A Brief Lesson Plan in English 10

At the end of the period, the students should be able to:
a. Read the story entitled “Aeneid: A Summary”;
b. Name the author who wrote the Aeneid and why
d. Answer the following questions related to the story;
e. Describe the Aeneid’s various connections to the Iliad and Odyssey.

84-85.

 Read the introduction about Early Roman Literature
 Play a video for the class
 Read with their handouts
 After watching the video and have read it with their handouts, answer the
following questions:
1. Who wrote the Aeneid and why did he write it?
2. Who are the characters of the story?
3. Who is the founder of Rome?
4. What do you think is the connection between Virgil’s Aeneid to
Homer’s Iliad and Odyssey?
III- APPLICATION
 The class will be divided into four groups.
(Role play)
Instruction: Act out a highlight scenario from the story.
Criteria:
Mastery – 20 pts
Creativity – 20 pts
Group Cooperation – 10 pts
Total 50 pts

IV- EVALUATION
 Refer activity from the book.
V- ASSIGNMENT
Research about what is Reflexive and Intensive Pronouns.
