NOTICE
The candidate, eligible to take admission into B.Tech (Regular & Self Sustaining category) / B.Arch and 5yrs Int. B.Tech &
M.Tech Dual Degree Programme 2019 in VSSUT, Burla through JEE (Main) and OJEE 2019 are required to report at Sir
Visveswaraya Auditorium of the university as per the following schedule. Online registration by student is mandatory through the
link https://vssut.in before the date of reporting for admission. For details please visit www.vssut.ac.in. The claim for the admission
shall be forfeited, if he/she fails to report within the schedule period.

 PROCEDURE FOR ONLINE REGISTRATION OF THE ALLOTTED CANDIDATE TO
VSSUT, BURLA BY OJEE - 2019

Candidates those who have been allotted through JEE (Main) / OJEE-2019 for taking admission into
various courses of Veer Surendra Sai University of Technology (VSSUT), Burla are required to register
online through the link https://vssut.in
Candidates must go through the instructions mentioned below before filling up the on-line registration
form. After successfully online registration, students will be facilitated to download/print copies of his/her
online registration form along with money receipt where an auto generated application code will be
generated for further references.
The candidates are required to take print out of filled online registration form along with money
receipt and keep two copies of the same to produce at the time of reporting for admission as per schedule
date (as notified vide No.VSSUT/ACD/2019/781, Dated.03/08/2019):

Before proceeding into online application, the following point’s needs to be taken care of:

1. Students are required to fill the online registration form and provide the correct information with
regards to categories like TFW / NTFW, Regular / SSC, etc. as per OJEE – 2019 final allotment,
otherwise VSSUT shall not be held responsible for any inconvenience during the time of admission.
2. Before filling the online registration, the Candidate should have his/her recent passport size
photograph in JPG/JPEG format the size should be within 50 KB and the signature should be in
JPG/JPEG format the size should be within 20 KB.
3. Students are required to register themselves in the online application with a valid mobile number and
email ID. An OTP will send to their mobile number for verification. Email ID will be considered as
the User ID.
4. Upon successful registration, the students will be asked to login into the portal with their credential.
5. Upon successful login, the student will be asked to link their JEE Roll No. and All India Rank(AIR).
6. The student should have his/her complete academic and personal information as required during online
registration.
7. The particulars mentioned in the registration form including degree programme, Department, Course,
Caste Category, Reservation, Date of Birth, Address, Email-ID, Mobile No. etc. will be considered as
Final and the candidate will not be allowed to edit/delete any fields of the registration form after final
submission.
8. The student should use his/her parent’s all time functional mobile number and email id for further
electronically communication.
9. Registration made without appropriate information as per notification is liable to be rejected.
10. To avoid any kind of inconvenience or last minute rush or unforeseen difficulties, candidates are
advised to submit on-line registration without waiting for the last date.

Accommodation in Hostel / Hall of Residences

The allotment to hostel to the admitted students will be based on JEE (Main) rank of the candidate. The
list of eligible candidates for accommodation in hostel shall be notified in the university website by the
office of Dean, Students’ Welfare.
The eligible students those who will get accommodation in hostels are required to pay
hostel dues which are to be notified by office of the Dean, Students’ Welfare in the
university website. The Mess Advance of Rs.28,000/- per year for B.Tech & B.Arch
students and Rs.30,000/- per year for 5yrs Int. B.Tech & M.Tech Dual degree students are
to be paid by the candidate, as applicable, in the respective office of Warden of the
hostels. The mode of payment shall be notified by the office of Dean, Students’ Welfare.
The boys having residence within 20 Kms from the university may not be allowed
for accommodation in Halls. However, all girl’s students may be accommodated in
Halls of Residence on priority basis.

As per the directions of the Hon’ble Supreme Court of India and the UGC, ragging in any form, in the
University premises including halls is strictly prohibited. Any students found indulging in any such
activities and against whom there is prima facie evidence thereto will be expelled from the University
immediately or handed over to Police. Each of the students of VSSUT is here by required to submit an
under taking in the prescribed format which is mandatory, to abstain from ragging in any form and other
antisocial activities. Violation of this will attract expulsion of the guilty from the University, lodging a
FIR with police and handed over to the law enforcing authorities (Refer to the UGC website
http://www.ugc.ac.in/notices/ and Hon’ble Supreme Court Order, Dated: 08.05.2009).

HOW TO REACH VSSUT

BY BUS

Buses are frequently running from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Berhampur, Baripada, Balasore,

Raipur etc. to Burla and Sambalpur. The VSSUT campus is one km from Burla Bus stand and 15 km

from Sambalpur Laxmi Takies bus stand (10km for the Anithapali bus stand). Autos are available

frequently from Laxmi takies and Anithapali bus stop. City buses (After 6 am to 9 P.M.) are also

running from sambalpur to VSSUT. Similar facilities are also available from Burla bus stop to VSSUT.

BY TRAIN

VSSUT, Burla sambalpur is well connected from Bhubaneswar, Cuttack, Rourkela, Raipur,

Kolkata and other major cities by express and local trains. Sambalpur Junction railway station (10 km) is

connected with VSSUT by auto and buses. Hirakud station is 3 km from VSSUT, campus.
