This document outlines three modules for analyzing structures using matrix methods. Module I discusses flexibility matrices and developing the total flexibility matrix to analyze trusses, beams, and frames considering loads, lack of fit, and temperature effects. Module II covers stiffness matrices and determining the total stiffness matrix. Module III introduces the direct stiffness method using element stiffness matrices and transformation matrices to assemble the global stiffness matrix and solve for nodal displacements and element forces for plane trusses, beams and frames.
