Product Family No. H83611

for further information if required.

Description
The Baker Model Special AOFM Bypass Blank-
ing Plug for the dual flow head injection and pro-
duction system (Product Family No. H70040, Unit
No. 4805, Flow Control Systems) is a positive
blank-off device designed to seal off pressure from
above and below. The blanking plug prevents the
injection and production fluid flowpaths from mix-
ing within the dual flow head.
The special AOFM bypass blanking plug con-
sists of a modified AOF Sur-Set lock and a premi-
um M bottom. The lock ensures the blanking plug
remains located within the dual flow head.
The blanking plug is designed to be run in on
one wire-line trip, equalized and retrieved in two
wire-line trips. The Model A Guide (Product Family
No. H81171) and Equalizing Prong (Product Fam-
ily No. H81188) are run in on one trip to equalize
well pressures. When the blanking plug is removed
it allows access down the Injection tubing, to set
packer or insert associated flow control devices.
Refer to Tech Unit No. 4805, Flow Control Sys-
tems, Tech Unit No. 4806, Flow Control Systems,
Tech Unit No. 4808, Flow Control Systems, Tech
Unit No. 4826, Flow Control Systems and Tech
Unit No. 4827, Flow Control Systems for descrip-
tions of these devices.
The blanking plug is run in using a Model A
Running Tool (H81155), Model D Probe (H81156)
and MH Positioning Tool (H81254). It is retrieved
using a standard GS-type pulling tool.
