Poster, E-Poster, Making E-Essay and Slogan Making Contest Contest Guidelines
This year, we invite everyone to look further and beyond what is trending, beyond the usual, beyond the
internet and social media. We invite all to see ICT differently, and explore more possibilities, improve
understanding of ICT and the local situation to be able to participate in growing the sector and all areas
that are interdependent with it.
The National ICT Month is observed every June by virtue of Proclamation Number 1521, series of 2008. It
is a commemoration of the vital role of ICT in nation building. ICT –CLASS / ICT CLUB will be advocating
the said event through:
1. each section from junior and senior high school may SEND 2 REPRESENTATIVE
2. The main theme of the contest is “SEE ICT DIFFERENTLY”
3. All e-posters entries must include the aforementioned theme at the back of their entry
4. The contestants will use the system units of DCP BATCH 33 and ps6 application
5. All design will be provided by the contest in charge
6. Students may manipulate all the tools, filters, and effects of the application
7. Contestants have 4 hours to create their entry
Contest proper: ICT LAB 2 VIA DCP BATCH 33 SYSTEM UNITS
8. Criteria for judging shall be:
a. Creativity and presentation - 40%
b. Originality - 30%
c. Relevance to the theme - 30%
9. entries shall be judged by The Board of Judges, composed of artists and experts on the field of Graphic Technology
10. The prizes shall be:
11. First Prize – certificates + medal
12. Second Prize - certificates
13. Third Prize - certificates
14. All entries shall be considered property of the school
15. The decision of the board is final and unquestionable.
1. E-Essay Writing Competition is open to all High students from the Tiaong National High School.
EACH SECTION MAY SEND 2 REPRESENTATIVE
2. The theme of the E-essay writing contest shall be derived from ICT month theme And will be
announced on the contest date.
3. All entries must be written in English and must have at least 500 words and must not exceed 2000
words.
PHOTOGRAPHY CONTEST
1. Photo entry must be taken on JUNE 24 to 28-(EXIF data must reflect correct date).
2. Do not put border/watermark/or any identifying mark on photo, to eliminate bias during judging.
3. Keep the high/full-resolution file.
4. Only 1 photo entry per contestant
5. Please rename your photo file using this format : FIRSTNAME_LASTNAME.JPG so we could easily
identify the owners of the photos.
6. Entries will be submitted to Mr. Rivera via soft copy and printed via photo paper A4 (contestant will
provide the A4 photo paper and the developing process and must be framed (cheap frame with
glass.)
7. Prize:
first prize 600 pesos with medal certificate
second prize 400 with and certificate
third prize 200 with certificate
special award 100 pesos and certificate
8. deadline of submission any day first week of July 2019
9. A panel of judges from Professional photographers will Scrutinize the entries
