Aliah 1st Sem. Mathematics Syllabus

This document outlines the course content for MATUGBS01: Calculus and Vector Analysis. The course is divided into 4 units covering differential calculus, integral calculus, Fourier series, and vector analysis. Unit I covers functions, limits, continuity, derivatives, mean value theorems, and functions of several variables. Unit II covers indefinite and definite integrals, fundamental theorems of calculus, and applications to areas, lengths, volumes, and centroids. Unit III introduces Fourier series and conditions for convergence. Unit IV defines vector functions and operations, vector operators like gradient and divergence, line integrals, surface integrals, and theorems like Green's theorem, Stokes' theorem, and Gauss' divergence theorem.
