II. OBJECTIVES:
At the end of the session, learners are expected to:
a. identify forms of tangible and intangible cultural heritage
b. perform one of the intangible cultural heritage
c. value culture as heritage.

B. REVIEW
The teacher will facilitate a game called “Pass the Ball”. The student who will receive the
ball at the time the music stops will be asked to answer questions related to the previous
lesson.
C. LESSON PROPER/ PROCEDURES
1. MOTIVATION
The students will be grouped into two. Pictures will be shown through a projector.
The groups will guess the culture or tradition that the pictures portray. The group
who got the high score will win the game.

2. ANALYSIS
1. What came into your mind when you saw the picture?
2. Does the heritage you see still present in our community?
3. Are we still practicing those heritage?
4. How can we preserve our own cultural heritage?
5. The teacher will show a video presentation about culture
6. The teacher will discuss the definition of culture and its forms which are tangible
and intangible culture.

3. ABSTRACTION
1. The students will give examples of cultural heritage that are known in their
locality.
2. They will be asked to give ways on how to preserve our cultural heritage.
3. The students will present a summary of the discussion.

4. APPLICATION
The students are grouped into 2. They will perform any of the cultural heritage that
they want to preserve until the next generation. They can either perform singing
( kundiman or harana ) ,dancing ( carinosa/tinikling), reciting a piece ( balagtasan )
and painting/drawing. The students will identify if the performance of each team
shows tangible or intangible cultural heritage.

D. ASSESSMENT
I. Identify the forms of cultural heritage. Write TAN if it refers to tangible
heritage and INTAN if it refers to intangible heritage.
