ACKNOWLEDGEMENT
With deepest gratitude and appreciation, I humbly give thanks to the people who,
with all they can, helped me in making my work immersion training a possible one.
To my parents, for their unending love and support, for providing all my needs
financially and morally, for their patience and understanding during my tiring days that I
can’t help them in the chores, for their never fading advices and for being there for me
no matter what.
Above all, to our Almighty God for his immeasurable love and for all the
blessings that God showered upon me. With all my heart and soul I thank him for guiding
me during my training in this work immersion. For the provision and wisdom he has
bestowed upon me. For keeping me and my love ones safe. I thank him for his comfort
when I was to give up. By his grace I was able to finish without any conflict.
SUMMARY
In my first day in the work immersion, my mentor said that I should observe him
first on how he do the work on assisting clients then while I’m watching the other
employee taught me how to operate the computer on which software must be used and
what are the documents I should print.
On the second day, I am already assisting clients on printing and saving their
documents in their own flash drive but then I kept on asking my mentor of what should I
do if there’s a client. I am very nervous when I had to assist a client because I am not
used to facing other people and my confidence is not that high yet I don’t even know
what kind of client is he/she especially sometimes if the client is easily embarrassed.
In the other day of my immersion, it seems that, bit by bit I am getting used to the
processed like printing, saving documents and etc. On the consecutive days, I always
assisting clients to issue their documents, sometimes I assist them on editing their
documents they gave me a copy and I’ll encode it, upon assisting them I am happy on
serving them, and do my duties very well but then there are times that I had assisted some
client who are short tempered and arrogant, which I know that can’t be avoided yet I
don’t like them because even if you already did your best to serve them nicely they will
still threat you harshly and get angry with you but for the sake of my duty, I still have to
treat them nice and polite but of course have the courage to face them be confident in
front of them.
On the very last week of my work immersion, I have facing every client full of
confidence while not being nervous anymore, because of this I overcome my self being
anxious whenever I face somebody which is better for my future as a professional
individual in my career work.
As a trainee I know to myself that I learned a lot to myself that I learned a lot but
it is not enough for me to be successful it was just a pre-trial and I am about to experience
more of it after this, yet I am still grateful for what I have experienced on serving others
and working with other people. I knew that there are so many things to know about
serving and working but for this time I let myself to be exposed on different people and
responsibilities to take a better improvement with myself first and understand more about
socialization and interaction with other people.
I know that it will take time for us to achieve our goals and dreams but as time
goes by we learned a lot and experience lots of different things on the journey in our
lives. People tend to go lots of ups and downs just before meeting their goals in life but
the key on being successful is by not giving up. Our journeys were built naturally by our
creator who guides us on the path we take, because on every path there were obstacles
and courses, some of it will hit us so hard for us to be strong and built our faith, for he is
there to protect and help us on our way. We have to learn how to fight courageously and
overcome our weakness for in the end we will end up happy and strong in the aspect of
life. I will make sure that all the knowledge I learn will be used to make my vision come
true and fulfill my mission in life in order for me to find and climb my way up no matter
what It takes.

V. Introduction……………………………………………………………………....6
Work immersion is one method by which students is given a chance to apply the
theories and computations that they have learned from the school. It also helps the
students to acquire relevant knowledge and skills by performing in actual work setting.
High School and Colleges require their students to undergo such training within a
specific number of hours as part of the curriculum.
On the other hand, an effective work immersion program also benefits the
companies who accept trainees. First work immersion provides additional manpower for
a lesser labor cost than a regular employee. Most of them are all eager to learn the ropes
so chances are high that they will cooperate.
Work immersion can bring fresh ideas into the organization. Given the
opportunity to speak their minds freely and without fear, they may be able to contribute
significantly in.
One major drawback of work immersion can be finding the right time for it. The
person responsible for giving and evaluating the training has to be sure that his or her
other job responsibilities are being met. Another disadvantage of work immersion is that
it can be difficult to find the right person to conduct it. The person doing the training
must have the knowledge and skills with the same equipment that the learner will be
working with. Care must also be given not to pass on.
OBJECTIVES
To acquire valuable knowledge and skills to complement those that I have learned
from school in an actual job environment.
The main objectives of this work immersion is to acquaint the students formally
to a real life work place environment. This will help to explore the relationship between
the knowledge and skills acquired in college with those required in the working
situations.
