Lesson Learning Objective: By the end of the lesson you will:

The student will be able to know

 Computer System and its working Cycle

 Parts of a computer
o Input devices
o Processing device
o Output devices
o Storage devices

Starter: Time: 5-10 Minutes Stretch for higher ability students:

Example 1: how the fruit tree grows from a seed. List down more input and output devices
Ask various steps involved. E.g. water and sunshine are the input and the fruit is
the output.
Example 2: Show the students a calculator.
Ask its function. Demonstrate by adding two numbers i.e. 2+3=5

Relate these with Input and Output devices of computers

Main Activity: Time: 60 Minutes

Introduction to Support for weaker students:

1. Input devices Focus more on each part/sections of the chapter to make sure they
 Mouse understand everything and then move on to the next sections.
 Keyboard
 Microphone etc.
2. Processing device
 Central Processing Unit (CPU)
3. Output devices
 Monitor
