1. FOLDER STRUCTURE
Before you even open the project please install the free googlefonts.
1. Go to http://www.google.com/fonts
2. Search for the fonts Alice and also Sanchez and click Add to Collection.
3. Click the Download button in the top right.
In the image of the Projects panel above, the comments next to each folder explain
usage. The main render comp sits at the top. The REPLACE folders contain comps you
will alter. The EXTRA OUTPUT folder contains comps for different render sizes and the
last IGNORE folder should be only altered if you know what you are doing and decide
to make your own custom changes.
We are now going to explain how to change the images and text. It’s really simple!

2. CHANGING PHOTOS
1. Twirl down the 1 REPLACE Photos folder in the Project panel and double click any
photo you want to change from 1 to 24.
2. Press Cmd + I (Ctrl + I on a PC) to import a new photo, drag it into the timeline and
delete the placeholder photo. The photo should be 970 x 680 pixels in size.
TIP! If your photo is not at the exact size then press Cmd+Alt+Shift+G to fit the
composition height or Cmd+Alt+Shift+H to fit to the width, instead of fiddling about
with scaling it close to the size of the comp.

3. CHANGING TEXTS
1. Twirl down the 2 REPLACE Text folder in the Project panel and double click any
Photo_frame you want to change from 1 to 24 (plus intro).
2. Double click on the single text layer and retype. Note that your imported photo is
already visible in the Composition panel.

4. RENDERING
TIP: There are many ways of rendering and encoding files and it depends entirely on
your Output device. A file intended for laptops for example should be something like
H.264 (You will need Quicktime for Windows installed to playback on a PC). In this
case we would render the file out as Lossless from After Effects. This is good practice
to avoid the need to re-render if the compression is too low for example. We would
then use a program like Quicktime Pro 7 to encode the file with Video settings such as
these below. Set audio to AAC 44.1 kHz Stereo 192kbps.
