ACTIVITY COMPLETION REPORT FOR

INTER-AGENCY CONVERGENCE MEETING
I. INTRODUCTION

The inter-agency convergence meeting represented by the different stakeholders.

Stakeholders in Libagon National High School converged at LNHS Building to consolidate efforts
ahead of school opening in June 13, 2016. The convergence of partner agencies and DepEd aims
to address concerns in the school communities regarding health, safety of children and school
officials, weather condition, traffic, prices of school commodities and supplies, water and power
supply, peace and order, availability of teachers and classrooms, among others. The OBE and
PAS primarily aim to address the problems commonly encountered during this period to ensure
that students are properly enrolled and are able to attend school by the first day of classes.

Led by LNHS School Head, Ms. Isidra Risa P. Salem, the Oplan Balik Eskwela 2016
Inter-Agency Convergence Meeting is significant in the success of the nationwide school’s
maintenance week and the orderly school opening.

Representatives from local government units, the Public Schools District Supervisor,
Madam Lourdes E. Castil, Philippine National Police, the PTA and SGC Officials were invited
in the inter-agency convergence meeting to discuss commonly encountered problems on school
opening. The support of internal and external stakeholders in every school community and the
engagement of partner government agencies are crucial in solving issues in every school opening
and throughout the school year.

III. OBSERVATIONS/PROBLEM MET
Some of the invited stakeholders were not able to attend due to conflict of schedule. Some
were not able to attend also because some of them did not receive the invitation letter. Some also
received the letter very late and they already have their commitment prior to the convergence
meeting. However, majority of the invited stakeholders were able to come and participate in the
convergence meeting.
IV. RECOMMENDATIONS/CONCLUSIONS
Invitation letters should be delivered as early as possible. Those who can’t attend should
send any representative from their office. Despite of the absence of some stakeholders, the
convergence meeting was successfully done and was able to come up with suggestions and
recommendations for the benefit of the students.
