As a project manager, I have to ensure the proper functioning of all processes in the finance department of the
University of Lausanne. Ongoing maintenance and scalable, as well as support and user training are part of
my specifications.

 Financial data is managed using the FI-CO and FM (Funds managements) modules. In order to facilitate the
management of other activities related to the university who have an impact on finances, we developed an
electronic payment system based on the SD Module.
 The FI-TV (Travel Management) is a current project, this module is being implemented which will facilitate the
capture, the recording and the reporting of travel related business needs.
 Another project is to establish a means to facilitate the opening of the funds (NSF or other sources) based on
the portal. Evolution of reports related to payroll, which are managed using the HR Module
 Supplier management, setting up send payment notices via email instead of notices sent by regular mail.
 Customer management, activation of the call back function via electronic reminders via email instead of regular
mail.
 Implementation of the new DTA (Payment medium workbench), sub-modules of the F110 standard SAP
functionality payments. This feature impacts all payments made by the University of Lausanne, suppliers and
salaries.
 Methodology, in recent years the Computer Centre is making efforts to ensure that the Hermes method can be
used as part of our projects. Support Group Finance is used wherever possible for projects of certain duration.
 SAP Portal Integration and development, Advanced Webdynpro development, NWBC, Launchpad, POWL,
FPM, Workflow with Multi Level approval, UWL.
