Brief Description

FEA engineer to validate structural strength and provide design support for power transmission
components.

Job Description (JD)

• Carry out static/dynamic, Linear/Nonlinear, thermal and thermo mechanical FEA (Finite
element analysis) of power transmission components.
• Perform Low cycle fatigue and High Cycle fatigue assessment of power transmission
components.
• Generate technical reports.
• Liaison with internal and external stakeholder for having relevant data and information

Job Specification: (Education, training and experience)

• Post Graduate (B.Tech/M.Tech) in Mechanical Engineering having FEM as one of their


core subjects with minimum 2 to 3 years of experience.
• Hands on experience in FEA software Abaqus and Abaqus Cae.
• Experience in simulation of products/structures with non-linear material behavior,
particularly rubber and plastics is preferred.
• Strong background in engineering mechanics and mechanical design.
• Conversant with various design standards (DIN, ISO and ASME) is preferred.

• A team player, should be able to cooperatively work in multi-disciplinary team and


selfmotivated.
