4. Procedures
4.1 Introductory Activity ( 2.5 minutes ) "The best and most beautiful things in the world cannot be seen, heard, or even touched; they
must be felt with the heart." - AnonymouS

Group activity:
4.2 Activity ( 10 minutes ) The teacher will present a graphic organizer containing the elements of drama. On the other
hand, pieces of meta strips containing phrase or words will be placed at the table and each group
will paste the phrase at the side of each words.

After which, another sets of words (literary devices/ figurative language) will be posted on the
board then sets of phrase (words meaning) will be given to learners and connect the words and
phrase on the board.
4.3 Analysis ( 10 minutes ) 1. How do you find the activity?
2. Why should study elements of drama? What would be the implications of these?
3. What can you say about these words?

4.4 Abstraction ( 20 minutes ) Deepening of the topic / Discussion:


- Defiining drama based on context.
- The elements of drama
- Some techniques and literary devices in teaching drama ( figurative language )

4.5 Application ( 8 minutes ) The teacher will present a short film or video and learners have to identify the different
elements of drama based on the presentation.
4.6 Assessment ( 2.5 minutes). Group activity: It is the discretion of teacher what type of activity for the assessment he has to
provide.

4.7 Assignment ( 2.5 minutes). Fill-in below any of the four purposes:

4.8 Concluding Activity ( 5 minutes).


This is usually a brief but affective closing activity
such as a strong quotation, a short song, an
anecdote, parable or a letter that inspires the
learners to do something to practice their new
learning.
