Section -1

Installation of RTMS

1. Copy the setup file \\pacis_RTMS\PACIS_RTMS SETUP\SETUP

2. Paste the setup file in C:

Click next and give yes

Type Name, Organization, Serial no -AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA-AAAA

Provide the supervisor information by default

Supervisor username – sa
Supervisor password – a or A

Creation of DB for RTMS

Click create DB

Provide the below information

Database server: OISERVM (Network name of your server)


Database name: PACIS_RTMS (user defined)
User name: sa

Note: Leave the password empty and click create

Exit upon successful installation

Section – 2 Checking the RTMS DB

Open SQL server management studio

You can see the created DB

Open pacis RTMS Icon in desktop

Enter the user name: sa
Password : a or A ( Which you have Provided )

Provide the server name : OISERVM ( network name of your server)
DB name: PACIS_RTMS ( created DB)
User: sa

Leave the password empty and click apply and close

A new window will be opened , Click start updating and wait for sometime to update

Note: If size of Historian is small it will update quickly otherwise it will consume more time

So, take a backup of Historian and delete, create a new historian which is represented in section

Note 1: If the size of historian is very big then RTMS
updating will take long time , So before installing
RTMS backup the old historian and delete and re-
create it using sql installing guide

Note 2: Before uninstalling RTMS in a existing system


take a backup of .prf file
