Values Education has been a part of public schooling in the Philippines. It has
undergone dramatic changes over the years, from didactic instruction to service
teaching students right from wrong. The relevance of Values Education as a subject
heightened by the urgent need to strengthen the moral fiber of society. For national
moral recovery, the Department of Education, Culture and Sports introduced the
Values Education Program in 1998 emphasizing social reform through the inner
1988 Moral Recovery Program. The DepEd Program had as its centerpiece the
offering of Values Education as a subject in all Grade levels the same subject is
offered in the K-12 Curriculum with a new name Technology and Livelihood
RESEARCH QUESTION
This study aims to know the performance level of Grade 7 students in Values
The basis for this research is the result of their Item Analysis of their periodical Exam
result and the MPS.
