Airborne Sound Insulation Single Number Rating Calculator: Instructions

This document contains instructions for using an airborne sound insulation single number rating calculator developed by Densil Cabrera of the University of Sydney. It allows the user to enter data on receiving room volume and surface area, source sound levels, background noise levels, and reverberation time to calculate sound insulation ratings like STC, Rw, Dnw, and DnTw. The user can adjust the rating values until the sum of deficiencies criteria is met.
