Please consider this letter as my intent to apply for a teaching position in your
established institution. Given my qualifications, I believe that I am qualified to teach in
any school.

I graduated with honors last April 2018 from Bicol University Polangui Campus with
bachelor’s degree in Elementary Education and passed the Licensure Examination for
Teachers last September 2018.

Believing that teachers should engage themselves in a life-long learning, I have


decided to start taking my graduate studies in Bicol University Graduate School this
August 2019. I am now pursuing Master of Arts in Reading Education.

Though I haven’t had a teaching experience yet, I believe that I am ready to take the
responsibilities of a teacher as I have already equipped myself with skills and learnings
which I have gained through the series of lectures I attended in the graduate school and
in the different seminars and trainings I attended in the past.

I chose to submit my application because you provide a very good opportunity to your
teachers to hone their skills and to improve themselves by participating in various
professional development workshops and trainings in and out of the school. I believe
choosing what is best can bring out the best in people like me who want to improve
continuously.

I am hoping that you will give me an opportunity to have my first teaching experience in
your reputed school.
