http://americandrivingsociety.org/EventsResources/Resources/DressageTests.aspx
All drivers and passengers are required to wear helmets. Safety vests required by all drivers and
passengers for Hazards (you may borrow this time - let us know in advance if you need help). Whip
required by all drivers.
Tentative Schedule:
Gates will open at 8:00 AM, Office will open by 8:30 AM
Dressage will begin at 10:00 AM
Cones set up will occur immediately upon the completion of dressage. 20 minutes will be allowed for a course
walk.
NOTE: If the weather permits, Cones will be set up outdoors (available to course walk before Dressage begins)
and competitors will proceed to Cones immediately following completion of Dressage.
Hazards set up will occur upon the completion of Cones, following a lunch break. 20 minutes will be allowed for
a course walk.
Awards will be presented as soon as scores are posted.
Judges: The Arena Driving Trials are not ADS sanctioned; however, many ADS rules will be followed. Each
ADT will be judged by a knowledgeable horse person who rides and/or drives at a high level of competence.
Each judge is a trainer, competitor and/or registered judge in ridden or driven dressage. We are departing from
the ADS rules in the selection of our judges to control expenses and due to the limited number of registered
judges in our region. We will not restrict participation of competitors who train with, or have purchased horses
from, the judge. Our goal is to encourage broad participation and to have fun practicing our sport. We will
welcome our judges as competitors at the ADTs that they are not judging. Other Officials: There will not be a
technical delegate or a veterinarian at the ADTs. EMT Service: 911
