JIS College of Engineering: Title: A Search Engine Using Semantic Wave Abstract
The document is a project proposal from the Department of Computer Science and Engineering at JIS College of Engineering. The proposal is for a search engine called "Semantic Wave" that will use knowledge graphs to more efficiently represent and provide useful insights from the massive amount of data now available online. Knowledge graphs are large networks that identify missing links between entities by gathering information from various sources like web pages, databases, and audio/video content. The proposal is submitted by 4 students and requires the signature of their supervisor.

Title: A Search Engine using Semantic Wave
Abstract:
The advent of the internet has granted access to a large number of
content creators to generate information. Owing to this, there is a massive amount of data that is now present on the web. In order to provide useful insights, we need an efficient way to represent all this data. One such efficient knowledge representation method is via knowledge graphs. In brief, a knowledge graph is a large network of interconnected data. Knowledge graphs are constructed from knowledge bases. Knowledge bases gather their information from free text on web pages, databases, and audio and video content. The main intent of the knowledge graph is to identify the missing links between entities.
