digital operations to different companies, Apart from that, it is also an IT consulting and
outsourcing firm, where it picks most of its employees from developing nations such as India and
Brazil. It has several key lines of dealing including strategy, technology, digital. Operations.

SECTOR: BPO operations


DESIGNATION: project manager
DAILY ROLES: : work on new project nin organization for ramp up. just have to plan than organize it by
dividing the work and leading it in a manner.

1. What do you feel is the most challenging task as a manager? How do you grit your teeth in
difficult situations?

Ans. As a manager, the most difficult task for me is to delegate the work evenly. You will
always have team members who are absolute rock-stars, then some who are a bit less
enthusiastic or are lower producers. I have to remind myself to distribute the work and
responsibilities evenly despite my natural inclination to give more work to the high
performers. I am currently working with my underperforming team members to prepare
them for a larger workload.

2. How do you maintain cordial relations with your team ? Would you like to share a situation
in which you were able to handle a conflict within your team.

Ans. It’s important to understand the situations first and what is the requirements to come
out the situations. At times, we had situation where clearly not define or not properly
communication happens with individual, so any gap in the above situations should be fixed
with discussiuon with individual then ask to work on it and monitor the perfomkace post
execution
.
3. How do you come out of those moments when you feel bummed out? Are you good in
segregating your emotions from your work?

Ans. Discouragement is part and oarcel of the role so once you have such situation its
critical to pacify yourself and try to evaluate the situation once again what went wrong
And how we fix it rather than going on emotional terms. Always need to remember one
doesn’t kill you ,so make yourself stronger.focus on the opportunity from the start bonjce
again, always seprate the work and personal life for better work life balance.
I think I am not that much good in segretating my emotions but sometimes I
am good in this. Acoording to me this maybe depends on situation and pressure you take on
yourself.
4. How do you encourage other members in your team to work? How do you develop
teamwork skills among employees?

Ans. Its important to have a healthy relationship with team members to achieve the objective
need to have regular connect with team, one-on-one and clearly in expectation setting, also
encourage them for what is their best area of strength along with working on area of
opportunities where they need to focus.
I usually have a cup of tea with my team members and their we
interact like friends and make everyone comfortable.

5. How much would you rate yourself on the parameter of work-life balance? Do you feel you
need to do some additional efforts?

Ans. On rate of 10 I would rate myself at 8. I had never unplanned leaves in my entire
carrier and no mix up for work life balance. Its totally depends on the individual how he/she
manages his/her daily routine and work as per requirements.
Yes, there is always scope of improvement need to better equip with
tools which makes the overall work life balance impectable,

6. In your opinion, how do feel your employees are when it comes to meeting the deadline and
how do you respond when they are unable to fulfill their task?

Ans. It’s a wow moment and would always encourage the efforts and persistence shown by
the team, where as situations when we don’t meet the deadlines try to understand the reason
for miss and how we can do it better went time. Also ensure the individuals understand the
responsibility and keep monitoring the perfomace and give constant feedback to improve.

7. How do you deliver and receive negative feedback to employees?


Ans. Its important to follow the sandwich theory and give feedback with start of positive note
where you can suggest I understand that you have but your efforts where as I see the area where
you can work to meet all the requirements and need to focus more, put the timeline when you
want to get it completed and what he/she need to work.
Starting negative feedback with negative conservation start made the person
on either defensive or attacking mode which either way not healthy for open conversation.
8. How do you manage cross- functional or inter-departmental issues?

Ans. Understand the dependency of other department and understand their role at times, due
to knowledge gap this situation arises where people run away from their role then its
difficult to involve the right audience and sorted out the situation.
9. Apart from managing your team, how do you manage your boss? Are there some other
tactics or ways you implement when it comes to higher authorities?

Ans. I just observe the behaviour of boss and what sort of his working style ,is he/she is
amaiable, analytically expressive or driving. Depending upon the nature of the boss I start
the communication and also need to start the building the report with manager accordingly.

10. When you get to know that someone from your team dislikes you, what is your reaction to
that person? Do you directly confront them or ignore that issue or indirectly tackle it?

Ans. Yeah, its common someone may like you or someone will not,so its not so shocking for
me.i confort to him/her directly and tries to sort out the misunderstandings.

11. Do you believe that organizational behavior helps you in performing your daily roles?

Ans. yes, when you start understanding a person's behavior, you are able to predict his
reactions, then also you delegate work accordingly" and this will help a lot to deal with team
members and everyone in the field

12. Would you like to give any advice or message to future managers so, that they can become a
smart cookie.
Ans. A manager should have a critically thinker, good soft skills, andacious at time when
team requirement support and lead from front. Also, leverage the team experience and keep
them motivated when they required.
Any fool can make the simple thing complex and leader make complex to simple. I
would like to say we need managers who turn out to be leaders because if you want to
sucessfor only 1 year grow crop, if you want to sucess only for 20 years than grow tree,but
if you want to success for many year than grow manger turn out to be leader.wishing all the
best for future managers
