Narrative Report of the Conducted Seminar
Last October 17, 2018 at 9:30 A.M. us, the students of
HUMSS II Timothy conducted a seminar in San Gabriel III Elementary school specifically in 55 Grade 6 students. To start our seminar, some of us led the prayer together with the attendees and perform a zumba dance lead by the dancers in our group to energize the Grade 6 students and make them ready to listen to the discussion
When the prayer, zumba, and introduction was done we
proceed to the discussion of the topics, the first topic entitled “Leadership skills” led by one of us, as we discuss the topic we all can see how well the Grade 6 students listen to what are the speaker is saying in front. After the discussion the Grade 6 students are divided into groups where they chose a leader and some of us to help them to perform in front and to show us how well does they stick to their group and with each other and how well does the leaders lead the team.
When the activity was done we proceed to the next topic
which is the “Characteristics of a Healthy Relationship” as the speaker started lecturing we clearly see that some of the students can connect to the topic and they do listen well to absorb what the speakers are saying, after the discussion we again conducted an activity to let them know each other more and see how well is their relationship to each other.
After all the discussion and activities we give them some
foods to eat because it is obvious that they are tired and hungry due to the seminar, when they are done eating we started giving the attendees their certificate of participation and also some prices we prepared for those who won in the activity and that is how our seminar ended. “Empowering Youths with the Help of Physical Education”
