How Do You Communicate With The Computer?: Save (CTRL + S)

You can communicate with the computer using a graphical user interface (GUI) by giving instructions through a mouse. In programs like Microsoft Word, there is a ribbon across the top of the window with tabs, buttons, and icons called commands that allow you to give instructions. Icons are small pictures that represent commands or programs, like saving a file, changing font styles, and formatting text. Common icons in Word allow you to save, cut, copy, paste, change font styles, size, color, and align or format paragraphs.
