A. Put the verbs in brackets into the correct form and find the real fact!

1. The teacher will give me a better mark if I do not make so many mistakes.

5. What happened to this plant if it were not rain last year?

B. Based on the situations below, make sentences using conditional sentence!

1. The party was dull because there wasn’t any music.


If there were any music, the party wouldn’t be dull.
2. We can’t stay any longer. We don’t have time.
We can stay here any longer if we have time.
3. Since I am not rich, I cannot buy you expensive things.
If since I am rich I will buy yu expensive things

6. He sold his house after his company went bankrupt.

She will not to work hard if being widow with six children
8. Having worked hard all day, I was tired last night.
If i don’t work hard all day, I won’t be tired today

C. Give respond to the following situations using conditional sentence!

1. My tooth has been bothering me.


If i were you i would go to the dentist
2. Tomorrow is Elly’s birthday, and I don’t know what present to get for her
I would give her a special gift, if I were you
3. I want to drive to Solo. Is it safe to drive at night?
If you want to go to Solo, you can drive at night.
4. Which dress shall I wear to her wedding party, this red one or this blue one?
If I were you, I would choose the red one dress in her wedding party.
5. I’ve just bought this alarm clock, but it is not working properly.
I will fix the alarm clock, if it is not working properly
6. I want to send some money to my parents. How should I send it?
I will sent some money to my parent at the ATM, if I go to the Office.
7. I have to go to Medan. Is it better to go by plane or ship?
If I go to Medan , I will choose by plan.
8. I feel awful. My head aches and I’ve got a very sore throat.
If I feel awful with my head aches and get a very sore throat, I will go to doctor soon.
9. I’ve been having a lot of trouble with my motorbike lately.
I will repair my motorbike if it has a lot of trouble.
