Waiter Tip Using Fuzzy

The document outlines the steps for designing a fuzzy inference system to determine waiter tips based on various input parameters like ambiance, quality of service, and quality of food. It involves selecting input and output variables, defining membership functions for the inputs and outputs, establishing if-then rules between the inputs and output, de-fuzzifying the output using the centroid method, and analyzing the relationship between each input and the tip amount output.

Design of Fuzzy Inference System (FIS) for waiter Tip

For designing a FIS to determine waiter tip various parameters like input like ambiance,
quality of service, and quality of food are taken under consideration. Following steps shows
the designing and results of the FIS.

STEP 1: Selecting input and output variables.

STEP 2: Selecting fuzzy values and deciding membership function of various inputs.

STEP 2.1: Ambiance

STEP 2.2: QoS

STEP: 2.3 QoF

STEP 3: Selecting fuzzy values and deciding membership function of output (Tip).

STEP 4: Defining If-Then Rules.

STEP 5: De-fuzzification using Centroid Method.

STEP 6: Relationship of each input with output.

STEP 6.1: Ambiance-Tip

STEP 6.2: QoS-Tip

STEP 6.3: QoF-Tip
